OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES FOR Nor Cal Big Deals $300 Shopping Spree Contest

Here are the official rules for the Nor Cal Big Deals $300 Shopping Spree contest (“Contest”), being conducted by NorCalBigDeals.com (hereafter referred to as “NCBD”) and its owner Results Radio LLC, starting February 25, 2024, and ending 11:59PM July 31, 2024 (“Contest Period”)

The NCBD may change the dates and/or terms, conditions, or rules of the Contest without prior notice. NCBD reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Contest as it deems necessary if it is not capable of completion as planned to include, without limitation, because of infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, legal challenge, or technical failures of any kind.

NCBD Judges will be the sole interpreter of Contest rules. All decisions by the NCBD Judges will be final. Entry into this Contest constitutes agreement by Entrant to abide by these rules.

By entering Contestant acknowledges that certain events may require COVID-19 proof of vaccination or negative PCR test for entry, and/or may require attendees to wear masks. Requirements for a venue are subject to change.

By participating, Contestant consents to NCBD contacting them by telephone, email, or text.

By entering, Contestants agree to indemnify this NCBD and Results Radio LLC from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from use of the prize or participation in this Contest.

By entering, Contestants, Semi Finalists, Finalists, and Winners agree to allow use of their entry materials (including submitted image(s), Name, written material, and Voice) in NCBD on-air, stream, social media, newsletter, website, or other NCBD publicity platforms.

The NCBD is not responsible for technological errors or failures of the phone, text, internet, email, or computer systems.

Contest is void where prohibited by law. 

WHO CAN ENTER (ELIGIBILITY)

Contestants and Finalists who do not meet this Contest’s Eligibility requirements will be disqualified, and ineligible to become the contest winner.

The Contest is open to all US citizens who reside fulltime in the State of California and who are age 18 years or older (“Contestant”).

Prize requires Winner to become a registered customer of NCBD, or entry is ineligible.

Current or former employees of Results Radio LLC, their immediate family members (including ex-spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, in-laws), individuals legally residing in the same household as current employees, Company affiliates, agents, successors, assignees, any promotional agency involved with this promotion,  current employees of other Radio stations in California and their family members,  are NOT eligible to participate or win. 

Contestants are required to provide truthful information to the NCBD on entry and during entire operation of the Contest. NCBD will disqualify any entry discovered to be based upon false or untruthful information. 

Failure to comply with the Rules may result in a Contestant’s disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize. NCBD, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, and to disqualify that Contestant from entering or winning future contests.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter (“Contestant”), complete the contest entry form (“Valid Entry”). Contestant acknowledges by entering that their email address will be subscribed to the NorCalBigDeals.com daily email subscription list.  Contestant may unsubscribe from the list at any time after entering, without forfeiting the contest prize.

 Contestant may enter the Contest up to 1 time per day. More than 1 Contestant per household is eligible to enter. Contestant is defined as a unique email address.

THE PRIZE

The Prize is:  $300.00 shopping credit for purchases at NorCalBigDeals.com. Shopping credit expires Dec 31, 2024.

There is one (1) Prize.

Prize Total Value is: $300.00.

METHOD OF DETERMINING AND CONTACTING FINALIST(s) and WINNER.

There is one (1) Winner. Each valid entry will be in a pool consisting of all entries received as of the end of the Contest Period. One (1) Finalist will be drawn at random from the pool. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries.

Following the random drawing that occurs the week of August 5, 2024, NCBD will contact the Finalist by telephone (number entered on Contest form) to confirm eligibility. Finalist must be immediately responsive to NCBD’s 3 attempts at contact, or the Prize is forfeited. NCBD will randomly draw another Finalist, continuing until a Finalist confirms eligibility. 

Finalist will become the Winner upon confirmation of their eligibility, signing of required forms, and confirming Finalist’s membership in NCBD so as to be able to redeem $300.00 of shopping credit. If the Finalist fails to accomplish the above criteria within 15 business days, the Prize will be forfeited, and a new Finalist will be drawn at random from all eligible entries.  

REDEMPTION OF PRIZE

Winner must appear to present valid, government-issued photo identification and personal social security number together with complete personal residence address, date of birth, and phone number, all such information to exactly match the information as supplied by Contestant’s entry. Winner will sign required affidavits and releases at NCBD offices or mutually agreed location, or the Prize will be forfeit.  Advance appointment at mutually agreed day and time is required. After signing affidavits and releases, the Prize will be awarded to the Winner within 10 business days.  Shopping credit expires Dec 31, 2024.

Prize cannot be awarded to third parties on behalf of the Winner, or else the Winner forfeits.

Prize is not transferable and may not be substituted for any reason, including but not limited to cancellation or postponement of events, business disruption, or other situations beyond the control of the NCBD.

Winner will be required to fill out a W-9 form to claim Prize, or else the Winner forfeits.  Taxes are not included. Payment of taxes will be the legal responsibility of Winner.

NCBD offices are closed on Legal Holidays. Prize must be picked up by advance appointment at the offices of Results Radio LLC Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm at:
